Due to the high demand for spots in the Our Animal Army it can take up to 48 hours to receive a response from us. During that time we will do our best to get to your application. If you have not heard from us within 48 hours please contact our support team at support@ouranimalarmy.com

No it does not cost anything to join the Our Animal Army. Depending on your local tax laws you may need to claim your income from the Our Animal Army and you will be sent a 1099 Tax form at the beginning of each year if you make more than the minimum required by law.

It takes a little bit of time for us to check in files that you upload to our dropbox. Most videos will appear in about 3-4 hours but can take up to 24 hours. If you do not see the videos you uploaded on your dashboard after 24 hours please contact support@ouranimalarmy.com.

We only accept files with the following formats:

• MKV

• WMV

• AVI

• FLV

• MP4

• MOV

• M4V

• DV

• HDV

We are looking for any and all videos with animals in them. This ranges the entire spectrum of situations and emotions we see in our animal friends. If you are questioning it, the answer is probably “yes we want it!”

Videos of animals being silly, being noisy, being lazy or even asleep are all acceptable because our pets are adorable no matter what they are doing. Check out our post on Capturing Content Basics for great ideas on where and when to film your pets.

If none of these payout options work for you please contact us at support@ouranimalarmy.com to see if we can find a solution that works for us both.

Depending on the payout method, your account must first accrue a certain amount before we can pay you. If you plan to close your account, you can cash out your final balance.

The short answer is Yes. Payout fees are inevitable when using third-party services like PayPal and Venmo. Depending on your decided payment method will determine the fee associated. 

You can check this on your payouts settings page and can always be changed. It is up to you to determine which payout option is best for you based on the payout threshold and processing fees associated with it.

We try our best to accept every video that comes in but sometimes there are a few that need to be rejected. If you receive too many rejected videos you may be temporarily or permanently banned from uploading content to Our Animal Army.

Luckily this is based on a ratio of accepted videos to rejected videos. We do this to keep our content curators and editors focused on the accounts that provide usable videos. If your ratio begins to dip you may be notified. Check out our section on Content Ideas and our Content Guidelines to make sure your videos don’t get rejected.
